ZEEMINAR ALYUMSHKA PROJECT 004

ZEEMINAR ALYUMSHKA

- Listen here
- Produced By Roan Gibson at Hyde Street Studio
- Featuring the late great Rob Reich

DESCRIPTION

“Zeeminar ALyumshka is a mixture of childlike wonder, dark humor, emotional rawness, and surreal storytelling, which is why comparisons hop between quirky pop, indie folk, and absurdist musical theater.” - The Midnight Cabbage

“Imagine walking with God to a petting zoo, making out with the Devil to Sade, or yelling at the corpse of a recently departed friend. Equal parts absurd and heartfelt, Zeeminar’s songs recall the playful surrealism of They Might Be Giants, the tender weirdness of Sufjan Stevens, and the dark humor of The Magnetic Fields. From My Sweet Lord (Ding Dong Song) to The Fifth Song I Sang to Her Corpse (Electric), each track twists reality, bends time, and somehow finds the heart in the chaos. Strange, electric, and unforgettable, like a dream you don’t want to wake from.” - The Oakland Wobble
